eLab

eLab is the new data analysis software developed by Elements to streamline workflows for researchers working with electrophysiology and nanopore data. Designed with a lightweight interface, it allows users to easily process and visualize large datasets with minimal effort.

Supported Analysis

  • Highly Customizable Filters: apply arbitrary-order IIR (Butterworth) low-pass filters to clean your signals.
  • Histogram & PSD: built-in tools for immediate data distribution analysis and Power Spectral Density estimation.
  • Generalized XY Graphs: plot any variable against another without rigid constraints, ideal for standard I/V curves, V/I curves, or custom variable combinations.
  • Channel Arithmetic: perform mathematical operations directly between different recorded channels.
  • Instant Statistics: automatically displays relevant quantitative metadata at the bottom of the screen, such as sampling rate, signal mean, and standard deviation.
  • Region of interest (ROI): isolate and perform operations or computations on a specific, continuous subset of your data.
  • Selective Channel Filtering: filter your workspace to display and analyze only specific data channels (e.g., displaying only current readout or only voltage stimulus channels).
